Cause & Effect
What I found most useful on the Cause & Effect website was reading the examples. It really helped me understand how cause and effect works in real-life situations, whereas almost everyone can relate to them. On the website, there are several examples about how people have driven, have rode a bike, or even have seen accidents. Reading the Cause & Effect website helped me realize that not everyone stops and thinks about the similarities or differences by reasoning, as well as coming up with our own opinions how "something" like accidents can happen anywhere and anytime. I think Cause & Effect situations can be a helpful way of forming a good argument by listening to what a person has to say first. By listening to the other person's argument, a person may be able to pick up and understand something better.

This is true I loved the example it was extremely easy to understand. The cause and effect is pretty simple after reading this. One something happens then something else might happen like a domino effect. One thing after another, which makes this easy understand and interpret. This is true we do not realize how much we do not stop to thinking about the similarities or differences by reasoning. i agree with you cause and effect does make good arguments because when one thing happens then another thing can happen. The first thing caused the second thing to happen. Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you on the useful things about the cause and effect website. Reading the examples from the website helps you better understand the concept of cause and effect. The website did seem a little difficult to understand at first. The website went in depth on each example which helped the reader fully understand. This is useful because the books example are too hard to understand sometimes so you can just go to the website and get a better understanding. I also found the exercises included helpful too. Overall the website was great and gives you a better understanding.
